First Day of School!

Alex's First day of School as a Second Grader! I can't believe my baby boy is growing up so fast. He is going to a new school called Summit Elementary and his teacher is Mrs. Gledhill. Good luck Alex!



Look at all the kids at the bus stop. My neighbor calls our subdivision Fertility Flats. We have a lot of kids around us but we have the best neighbordhood.

Coby and I had a great weekend in San Diego we actually ended up getting more than we bargained for. We stayed at the Hyatt Hotel next to the San Diego Temple and we took in a session there which was wonderful then we headed to Flemming's steak house for dinner which was Yum-O. If you have never been make it a point to find one and enjoy. But just a warning!!!! It is not so nice on the check book but great on being completely satisfied.
As we headed across the street back to our hotel we had to wait for a three tour buses and a Police escort to stop because guess who was staying at our hotel. That's right it was the Chicago Bears. Coby and I nonchalantly started walking in with the team like we were suppose to be with these guys. Now with me being 5 feet 2 inches and some sassiness with that I totally was star struck with these 7 something tall men. These guys were huge.
It was such a rush to be in the lobby with all of these guys and there fans and everyone wanting to just cheer these guys on.
I got Coby's favorite team players' autograph which was Bryan Urlacher. He is one big Dude!!! We had a lot of fun riding in the elevator with all these guys. I felt like a kid standing next to some of them. When you only come up to there waist it is kind of a bummer. Where were my stiletto's? really just when a girl could really use some inches.
Our luck kept going because as we decided to go to the pre-season football game to watch the Chargers and the Bears as we were standing in line for tickets a guy came up to us and just offered us free tickets by the end Zone. It was awesome!!!!!



So as you can tell we had a blast!!! Can't wait for the next vacation.

Who gave the one year old some Chocolate Pudding?.......Guilty ;)

I am not really sure how much he actually ate but he sure had fun making a chocolate mess.

Wow!!! I can't believe that it has been a year!

I have made a new goal and that is to not let another year pass by without capturing these fun Carling moments.

So here is to me trying to do some catch up work....... :)

My cousins took Coby, Alex, and Camron to Cascade Falls. They said it was awesome.
They went to a cave that had Ice everywhere and another area where the water looks like it is coming out of a rock. Fun Adventures.

For many years we have been going with the Garretts to the Ute Stampede. Every time we spend the weekend with them we have late nights and great times. We have a lot of fun together. Thanks for a great weekend!!!
